Welcome to the Party!

With a broad horn section, powerful congas & timbales and charismatic Latin vocalists, the band creates an explosive energy reminiscent of the boiling clubs of the Nuyorican Latin scene of the Palladium era.

Their dynamic and expressive sound is characteristic, revitalizing vintage and old-school repertoire – including mambo, boogaloo and salsa – and encouraging the audience to dance and join in.

Live, CHACÁN ignites an explosive energy reminiscent of the legendary Nuyorican clubs of the salsa era. Her performances are absolute dance evenings full of joie de vivre.

History & reach

CHACÁN was founded in 2011. The band is active throughout the Rhine-Main region and performs both in full line-up and in more compact formats.

Repertoire

The repertoire offers a lively mix of well-known salsa hits, forgotten classics and original compositions – from “Aguanile” to “Hong Kong Mambo” to “Azuza” or “Tin Tin Deo”
